MISSION AND PURPOSE

The mission and purpose of TOLCA are training Godly leaders and inspiring young entrepreneurs. Leaders and entrepreneurs do not think like employees. The overwhelming majority of schools teach students to become good employees. They have the mindset and thought process of an employee. They are not encouraging, training, or planning for students to become entrepreneurs or leaders. An ignorant people are easily controlled – as it states in Hosea 4:6 “my people are destroyed for their lack of knowledge.” We will produce enlightened citizens here at TOLCA. As Benjamin Franklin so aptly stated, “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.” If we want our students to become leaders and entrepreneurs, then we must PLAN a training that enables them to become that.
We teach truths that are often overlooked, forgotten, or buried. I love what Henry Ford said: “It has been my observation that most people get ahead during the time that others waste.” The truth is, as William H. Johnsen said, “if it’s meant to be, it’s up to me.” At TOLCA, we purpose that every minute counts. We take every obstacle, trial, and challenge and make them teachable moments. Not a second is wasted here. Every impact, lesson, and failure culminate in growing a leader.
We use ACE curriculum, which we believe is the best on the market today. It was designed by an educator who believed that the curriculum was designed for teachers to teach but not for students to learn. So, he flipped the script and wrote ACE. It fosters accountability and responsibility. It uses the Word of God as its basis and foundation. However, we add the hands-on component which is so missing in most schools. Benjamin Franklin said it best, “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” Here at TOLCA, we create as much real-life experience as we possibly can so that we can INVOLVE our students in real-life training. We are purposely unconventional. We intentionally teach students to think outside the box. We do the opposite of what other schools are doing because we want the opposite results other schools are producing. We are training students to LEAD. We are training students that with God, NOTHING is impossible.
